2021 Polaris PRO RMK: Conquer the Mountain

2021 Polaris PRO RMK: Conquer the Mountain

Light, rigid, balanced, and efficient, the 2021 Polaris PRO RMK offers everything you need to conquer deep snow and mountains with confidence. Sloping hillsides and deep snow cannot stop the PRO RMK, which faces tough mountain conditions with disconcerting stability that gives its rider absolute confidence and a feeling of complete control.

Available in 163-inch and 174-inch versions, the 2021 Polaris PRO RMK is built on the AXYS platform and promises to deliver immediate responses to rider commands. It climbs and positions itself on the snow to get through the most difficult conditions. On a mountainside, the AXYS platform also stands out with its Rider Balanced function which improves safety, a feeling of confidence and stability.

The light and stiff rear suspension design feature revised geometry. This improves weight transfer, provides better control and a more dynamic ride. Off the beaten path, the pilot will notice improved weight transfer with an impressive approach angle. On the path, the rider gets a smoother and more comfortable ride.

The Patriot 850 Engine Stands Out

Powering the PRO RMK 163 and 174 range is the new Polaris Patriot 850 engine, the most powerful engine ever offered by Polaris. This powerful and rugged engine stands out for its reliability and performance delivered instantly in all circumstances.

QuickDrive2

The big improvement brought to the Polaris RMK range in 2021 including the PRO RMK is a new drive system called QuickDrive2. QuickDrive2 features a lower inertia design than the previously available belt drive system in part due to a 10% gearing reduction. To achieve this, QuickDrive2 uses new sprockets and a new belt.

The new QuickDrive2 drive belt, unique to Polaris and co-developed in partnership with Gates, has a different internal structure and is longer than the QuickDrive1 belt to accommodate the different sprockets.

The result of the new design is less effort, faster response, and better lift out of the snow. The QuickDrive2 system is offered on the PRO RMK range including the 174 model which benefits from 2.75-inch or 3-inch tracks.
